As a military-friendly school, our staff is ready to help you work through the process of finding the military benefits for which you are eligible, so you can get your career training started.

You may be eligible to receive

Montgomery GI Bill® (MGIB) (Chapter 30)
GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

MGIB benefits are available for servicemembers to help with education and training costs. To qualify for the MGIB, you must:

  • Contribute $100 a month for the first 12 months you are in active duty, or qualify under Veterans Educational Assistance Program (VEAP) conversion.
  • Have completed High School or have an equivalency certificate before you apply for benefits.

Veterans Educational Assistance Program (VEAP) (Chapter 32)

You are eligible for this military benefit if you elected to make contributions from your military pay to participate in this program. The government matches your contributions on a two-for-one basis. For more information, visit www.benefits.va.gov/gibill/veap.asp.

Post-9/11 GI Bill®

If you have at least 90 days of aggregate active duty service after Sept. 10, 2001, and are still on active duty, or if you are an honorably discharged Veteran or were discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 days, you may be eligible for this VA-administered program. Survivors' and Dependents' Educational Assistance Program (Chapter 35)

To be eligible for the Survivors' and Dependents' Educational Assistance (DEA) program, you must be an eligible dependent of a veteran who is permanently and totally disabled due to a service-related condition or a veteran who died while on active duty or from a service-related condition.

This military benefit offers education and training opportunities.
