How to Apply for Financial Aid

Financial aid is available to those students who qualify. In order to determine eligibility, students are requested to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by visiting www.fafsa.gov. When completing your FAFSA, ensure you put Taylor College’s Federal School Code in the appropriate area: OPE-ID# 041166.

We encourage students to complete the FAFSA as soon as possible prior to the application submission period for the program you are applying to. When completing your FAFSA, we ask that students utilize the IRS Data Retrieval Tool which will import your tax information filed from the previous year. By using this tool, your information will automatically be uploaded into the application and provide the most accurate results.

Once submitted, your FAFSA will be processed by the federal government within 2-3 days. The government will then send the application to our Financial Aid Office who will process the paperwork and notify each student with a letter of eligibility. The letter will contain an estimate of the aid that can be obtained for the award year.

For more information about financial aid, or to request a brochure titled “Funding Your Education” to provide you with directives to complete the FAFSA, please contact the Financial Aid Office at 352-245-4119 or finaid@taylorcollege.edu.
