Course Description
This course will prepare students to challenge the nursing assistant competency exam. The student will review and practice the necessary skills, complete written examinations in preparation for challenging the examination and discuss work habits to include empathy and compassion in dealing with patients both in the private economy and public sector.
Profession Overview
Once you pass your Certification exam you are able to start working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). As a CNA you are able to work directly with patients in the health care setting by providing assistance with daily care.

Entrance Requirements
- Complete Enrollment Form Non-Credit Courses
- At least 18 years old
- Sign program policy forms
Certification
Once a student has completed this course they will have the option to apply for the exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Testing to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is conducted by Prometric. Students must submit their application and testing fee into Prometric prior to receiving a testing date.
Refund Policy for Short-Term courses of 40-hours or less
No refund will be given for continuing education, professional development, non-credit courses, Entrance Exams.
